Getting your progress on another device

Your progress is linked to your account. In the Profile tab, on the Sync card, create an account (email and password) on the first device, then sign in with the same account on the second. Without an account, your progress stays on the device.

Restoring a purchase

Open the plans screen (a locked lesson, or Profile) and tap Restore purchases. You need to be signed in to the same Apple or Google account you used for the purchase. Lifetime access and active subscriptions are restored with no new payment.

Cancelling a subscription

• iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Majlis → Cancel Subscription.
• Android: Google Play → profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Majlis → Cancel.

Access stays open until the end of the period you've already paid for. After that, Majlis goes back to the demo version: level A1, the alphabet, the placement test and all your progress stay available.

Asking for a refund

Payments are handled by Apple or Google, who decide on refunds: on iPhone, at reportaproblem.apple.com; on Android, from your Google Play order history.

Deleting your account and your data

In the app: Profile → Sync → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. If you can no longer get into the app, write to the address above from your account's email address. Deleting the account doesn't cancel an active subscription, so cancel it first (see the section above).

Sound or microphone not working

• Check that the phone isn't on silent and that the media volume is turned up.
• The pronunciation exercise is optional. If it can't hear you, allow microphone and speech recognition access for Majlis in your phone's settings. No sound is recorded or sent.
